Wam! is a mobile money wallet built for Trinidad and Tobago — a fintech product that lets users send, receive, and manage money without a traditional bank account. Licensed by the Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago and partnered with Visa, Wam! needed a web presence that communicated trust, modernity, and local identity. We built out the complete marketing frontend, including an interactive agent map that helps users find nearby cash-in/cash-out locations with real-time hours and details.

– The Challenge
Trust in a new financial product.
Fintech in the Caribbean is still emerging. Most people rely on cash or traditional banking. Wam! had to bridge that gap — the website needed to feel as reliable as a bank but as approachable as a modern app. Every design decision centered around building confidence with first-time visitors who might be skeptical of digital money.

– Design Direction
Bold, clean, and unmistakably local.
We leaned into a vibrant purple palette that felt energetic but premium. The typography is sharp and modern — no unnecessary flourishes. The layout prioritizes clarity: what Wam! does, how it works, and why you should trust it. We incorporated subtle nods to Trinidad and Tobago throughout, from the language to the imagery, making the product feel like it was built here, for here.

Find a Wam! agent anywhere on the island.
One of the core features we built was an interactive agent locator map. Users can search by location and see agent details — name, address, operating hours, and services offered. This was critical for Wam!'s cash-in/cash-out network, the physical backbone that makes the digital wallet accessible to everyone, even those without bank accounts.

Payments made easy, finally.
That's the Wam! promise. The website had to deliver on that same feeling — effortless, clear, and welcoming. No jargon, no friction. Just a straight path from curiosity to confidence.

– The Result
A launchpad for a financial revolution.
The site launched alongside Wam!'s official debut at Worx Coworking Space in Port of Spain. It served as the primary touchpoint for the Visa and NPICTT partnership announcements, onboarding new users, and directing them to the app. The agent map became one of the most-used features, helping bridge the gap between digital finance and the communities that need it most.
